The Synoptics

The three synoptics are Matthew, Mark, and Luke, in these three books there are some similarities and some differences. One similarity is that the crucifixion and resurrection are in all three of these books; they each tell how Jesus tells about the end times and His death. Another similarity is that there are lots of parables and healing in these books, mostly about healing demon possessed people and healing people who are sick. A difference is that each book was written with a different theme. Matthews’s theme was Jesus is the messiah and king, Mark's was Jesus is the messiah and servant and Luke’s theme is Jesus is the Earth's Savior. John the Baptist was also in all three of these books, it talked about him baptizing people and also his death. Another difference is that Matthew wrote to the Jews, Mark wrote to the Romans, and Luke wrote to the Gentiles. Each of these stories all have different stories in them but they have a lot of similarities.

once upon a time...

The world didn’t just magically drop and the world was created. Creation was not the big bang, God created the world in his own special way. God took his time and made something new every day. God made all the creatures and humans in His own image. The earth started as darkness, it wasn’t light and bright in the beginning, and it was dark. Soon God created light and the earth was light and happy, with no more darkness. God created the earth knowing that the fall would soon happen. God created us to worship and follow Him, not to stray away from Him and disobey Him. God created the earth; He wanted no sin, or anything. All He wanted was for us to love and obey Him.

gods story and my life

God’s story is just amazing; He died on the cross and saved us from our sins. We need to trust in the Lord and in everything we do, do it for the glory of the Lord. God created us for one purpose, and that purpose is to glorify HIM! God is supposed to be the number one person in our life, but nowadays people struggle believing and trusting in Him. We were also created to be lights to others who struggle and to people who don’t even know the Lord. We need to stand up for what we believe and help others out. Trust in the Lord and don’t lose your faith, make the right decisions and hangout with the right people!

Jesus raises lazarus from the dead

This story just blows my mind every time I read it…. it’s amazing how Jesus can raise someone from the dead. God has a plan for everything; He knows every little thing that happens. Mary and Martha were sisters of Lazarus and they all were friends of Jesus. Lazarus one day became ill and Mary and Martha told the Lord that their dear brother Lazarus was sick. Jesus heard about this and did nothing but wait. Two days later Lazarus died, his sisters were devastated but they had to believe that Jesus had a plan. Jesus told his sisters that Lazarus will soon raise from the dead; Mary and Martha were confused. Everyone gathered at Lazarus tomb and watched as Jesus performed one of the greatest miracles ever. Lazarus woke from the dead right when Jesus said “Lazarus come out!” Lazarus walked out from the tomb and was standing right in front of Jesus, alive and well.  While many were in shock, this made many come to know the Lord. It is not possible for people to come back from the dead. Jesus is the only powerful one to do so. Jesus has a plan for everything, never doubt the Lord. Mary and Martha could have blamed the Lord for not coming and helping their brother, but instead they trusted in The Lord. God has a plan for you, and its going to be great. keep trusting in The Lord, He works in mysterious ways.
romans 15:13
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
